Week 6/52 of my Project 52.
Working with Nightlife Virginia for the Spring Training Giveaway, the flying Squirrels were there to help us give it away. At the final drawing, I saw this creepy over head light on Nutzy and the shadows casted on him were just so evil looking when he leaned forward. So I took the moment to capture it.
Week 5 of my Project 52. It is more of a discovery I made while playing with my remote trigger. More about it can be read on my blog post.

So I had a thought the other day while using my cheapo cowboy studio radio trigger. I only have one transmitter and one receiver. For the longest time I figured I could only have one off camera flash (that’s not an optical slave). I have a 430EX II and a 580EX II. I can trigger the 430 with my 580 because the 580 acts as the master and it is all still lovely ETTL.
Well I thought to myself, if I can use the test light on the 580 and it triggers the 430, then why can’t I set the 580 on master and the 430 on slave and use the cowboy studio to trigger the 580 which in turn will trigger the 430.
Well whaddya know, it worked! Granted all of the flashes have to be manually configured unless I do ratio on the 580, I am pretty satisfied at now being able to have 2 off camera flashes without the use of more equipment.
TIGGER IS SCARED AND LOST! One of the shots I took while doing a little photo walk with my buddy Matt of 8-Bit Photography (Flickr).
Sometimes this happens when I take landscapes. I take a ton in a row and I come out with something like this. Unintentional time lapses.
Lately I have been obsessed with shopping at thrift stores. There’s nothing better than saving a ton of money on some clothes and accessories! I want to share a couple of my favorite pieces that I have mustered over the months.
One of my biggest inspirations is clothesencounters on YouTube. What used to be a duo is now led by Jenn. She’s pretty cool, check out her videos.

September 11, 2011 marked the 10 year anniversary of the attacks, but this post will not be about that. It will be about a more joyous and festive event that occurred for the first time in good ol Richmond, VA. RVA Music Fest made its first appearance with several local and regional acts throughout the day and some national talents. More after the jump.
